Also no one has declared snapshot releases as dead. Effectively we only have a very small number of people that end up doing the release work but maybe this is a sufficient enough disruption to motivate other people to do something else, maybe openSUSE_FB_1 (openSUSE Factory Based).
I still don't get how this SLE base system is solving the "not enough people involved in release engineering" problem. Sure, it means less work for SUSE staff maintaining Ring 0/1 packages in both SLE and openSUSE, but will they all help with maintaining Factory and release engineering tasks?
