Redirector is directing M3 DVD iso to mirrors1.kernel.org that has only milestone 4 that is not accessible at the moment.
No idea how this could happen; conflicting rsync jobs or accidental deletions would be conceivable reasons. I don't completely understand what you wanted to download -- M3? And M4 was not accessible where exactly?
I was looking for M4, but download was redirected to M3.
Okay, then the release of M4 was probably in progress. There's always a more or less short timeframe where a few things could be confusing, because we can't change them all at the same time (download page at software.opensuse.org for instance).
But it's hard to investigate later, and not looking at it at the very time.
The NET iso is redirected to mirrors2.kernel.org and it has no problem.
And now, after few attempts I'm redirected to mirrors2.
That happens. The mirror scanner has to poll to know what mirrors have what files. There is a reason you can pick the mirrors directly.
Shouldn't be a problem, unless goes something wrong. (Which happens.)
It was obviously temporary glitch, as error disappeared while I was writing email, and I posted it anyway just to notify you.
Thank you very much. Peter
