Hi
I'm wondering whether it wouldn't make sense to provide release notes also for openSUSE LiveCDs. I'm thinking about topics you need to know before running the LiveCD, e.g. to avoid a black screen with some graphics cards (boot option "nomodeset").
What do you think? Is anything already planned for 11.3? Or do we still rely on these "most annoying bugs" pages, which probably especially new users are never going to find?
Best would be to see such release notes already when downloading the LiveCD image, i.e. accessible on the same page.
http://software.opensuse.org has tons of links, but I'm afraid most are not read.
Maybe it'd make sense to have a custom homepage for browsers on the livecd. Something like a big search box + a link to the release notes and a link to opensuse.org?
