For example, attempting to remove kio results in zypper wanting to remove kde and kde_plasma patterns. Attempting to remove libKF5Archive5 also wants to remove kde and kde_plasma patterns. I could come up with MANY examples, but the above shows the general pattern that the all fall into. I am not sure if there are reasons for this situation or if it is just a matter of some dependencies are defined which should have been cleaned up. Can anyone shed any light on this ? Hi. I would like to propose the removal of the $HOME/bin directory from the default setup. It clutters the user's home in exchange for very little gain in some very specific individual workflows. For those who need an easy and user-oriented directory in $PATH, $HOME/.local/bin is already configured by default. What do you think? Best regards, Heitor Moreira

Hi all. Some weeks ago I was using EAGLE 7 to design a circuit board. Today it does not start anymore because of missing libraries (see below). zypper does not find a libopenssl1_0_0 How can I run the old commercial software binary on my tumbleweed computer?
