Hello,
I notice I'm receiving duplicate messages from opensuse-factory.
I copied below one example of the source of two email which apparently
are identical:

Hello,
I ran Tumbleweed since some weeks now then I added Cinnamon repo and
installad and used it perfectly until last zypper update wherein
Cinnamon presents a failure (empty panel)
This is the Cinnamon repo I configured:
1 | CinnamonF | cinnamon | Sì | (r ) Sì | Sì | 99
| rpm-md |
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/Cinnamon:/Factory/openSUSE_F…
This is an excerpt of the cinnamon glass.log:

I have the same observations as has been stated. Hangs forever. Never
get logged in unless ssh from another machine. Tried 'init 3 ; init 5;'
several times, hangs as stated. In my case on Intel NUC with the "Intel
Corporation Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller" and i915 driver.
The 9/3/2015 iso does it from base KDE install. Does not seem to put
much in the journal log.
I chose to revert to 8/19/2015 TW which works and not let kwin5 upgrade.
However when I try to unselect kwin5 yast2 the upgrade goes away so I
have to select what packages I want to upgrade rather that unselect
kwin5. I am 600+ packages behind now.

Last night I updated KDE from 5.3 to 5.4 on my 64-bit Tumbleweed
system. After restarting the KDE workspace now hangs at startup with
the progress indicator at about 90%.
In the systemd journal I noticed this kde5 entry, but I don't know if
it is related to the hang:
QT: Session management error: networkIdsList argument is NULL
Anyone know what is going on?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
see http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=945563 for the
background or add
/etc/samba/sock/ rw,
/etc/samba/sock/* w,
to /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/samba if you're using one of Samba's nmb,
smb, or winbind daemons while having AppArmor active.
Cheers,

hi
just got the above when logging in, i think its just a one off error as i've
logged in and out a few times today with no issues. It still went to the
desktop and i could carry on working fine.
I tried following the "Crash Reporting Assistant" instructions to install
"Install Debug Symbols" - got this error after logging in as root "No provider
of 'debuginfo(build-id)=45ef3223712f569512c26f409c807afb460ef291' found. ['--
plus-content debug'?]"
I could not proceed any further with logging the error.

Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers,
Unfortunately, we had to dedicate a lot of OBS resources to openSUSE
Leap 42.1, which has been moved from openSUSE:42 (which was always just
a project codename) to openSUSE:Leap:42.1 (which now represents the
distribution name and version). For this reason, we were very cautious
with checkin in new packages and fixes to Tumbleweed. If we'd not have
done that, there would not have been any Leap progress (which is, as
opposed to Tumbleweed, on a time limit to get its releases out).
Nevertheless, we did produce two snapshots (three, if we take into
account that 0903 was released on Saturday, so after my last review
mail) this week (so not all was pending.. it was just slower).
Noteworthy changes this week:
=============================
* NetworkManager update to 1.0.6 (incl. most VPN config modules)
* KDE Framework 5.13.0
* KDE Plasma 5.4.0 (this was mentioned last week as checked in, not
published)
* Some more Perl 5.22 related fixes in multiple packages
* doxygen 1.8.10 (basic XML syntax highlighting)
What's being forged in the various staging projects:
====================================================
* systemd: a fix in plymouth helped with some progress, but the disk
encyrption dialog is still faulty (it's in text mode instead of
graphical)
* libQt 5.5: no change; we are still waiting for the respective fix in
libyui-qt to get this in
* KDE Applications 15.08.0
* NCurses 6.0: all build failures of packages in the rings have since
been fixed (latest submission this morning). Let's e surprised by the
staging progress and the openQA run.
* Kernel 4.2: did not make it in yet; the current submission has errors
and kernel-vanilla would fail to build. The warning of last week with
regards to the nVidia driver seems can be lifted (if I understand the
changelog right). A patch was added to Make flush_workqueue() available
again to non GPL modules.
* GNOME 3.18: it's not yet released, but the GNOME Team submitted
3.17.91 into the staging area in order to identify fallouts early (some
have already been addressed) and to adjust openQA as needed. You should
be able to expect GNOME 3.18.0 as part of Tumbleweed as quickly as
possible, once it's being released upstream (Release date is Sep 23
2015).
With all this, I wish you a happy and fun weekend ahead,
Dominique

Hi
I got this after all the files were downloaded and just prior to install. Not
had this before, just checking in case its a problem with the install process
File /boot/.vmlinuz-4.1.6-3-desktop.hmac

kernel-desktop-4.1.6-3.2.x86_64(repo-oss)

conflicts with file from package

File conflicts happen when two packages attempt to install files with the same
name but different contents. If you continue, conflicting files will be
replaced losing the previous content.
Continue? [yes/no] (no):

Thanks!
According to [1], submission should be something like
osc submitrequest -m '...' openSUSE:Factory/syslog-ng openSUSE:Leap:42.1
