[opensuse-factory] Enlightenment plans for 42

Hi All, Just a quick note about plans for enlightenment in 42 as I don't plan to push everything in factory. Pre History: When enlightenment e18 was released it broke compatibility with a bunch of 3rd party e17 themes and modules, as for a few people this resulted in a major regression to workflow we kept the existing e17 packages in the repos. For openSUSE 42, I plan not to push these "e17" packages (includes e_dbus) as I don't have time to test them or do any branding. I do all this work in my spare time and there is only so much I have between work and my family. At the moment I feel its a better use of my time to make sure the latest enlightenment is rock solid and has things like some form of NetworkManager integration as well as some of the newer efl apps intergrated. Having said that to the best of my knowledge the e17 packages in Factory still work fine and will still get security updates if there ever is any so there is no reason to remove them from there. If someone really wants e17 in Leap for now they can use the enlightenment devel repo but after the 42.1 release i'm happy to help them package moshka but I probably won't do it myself. [opensuse-factory] s2disk does't prepare grub2

Hi, with 4.1.4-1-default s2disk works again with an ATI graphics controller. But on suspend grub2 isn't prepared. This worked once with grub2. Therefore on resume one is able to manipulate the grub2 menu which should not be possible. Or might this be intentional to allow to boot a different operating system? Due to problems with suspend and the former graphics card I can't exactly state when this broke. Hi, I was able to install Tumbleweed from a USB stick using openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Snapshot20150811-Media.iso on a Dell Optiplex 990 (set to UEFI mode) I got a surprising error message ("These packages could not be found...") at the end of the installation process, certainly related to the fact I asked the autoyast profile to be written. [opensuse-factory] failed to find cpu0 device mode

On my 32 bit machine running a fully updated Tumbleweed, I am at bootup informed that it failed to find cpu0 device mode. Google gives me the assurance that it is something quit common with the 4.1. kernel. It does not show with the 64 bit machines. No idea if my other problems are connected wit above info. After the boot has completed I am left in my normal KDE screen with no functions whats-however. Looking further into my problem I ran the Memtest86 version 5.01 from the 13.2 iso dvd.and the screen only found cores 1 active/1 Total (run all). It says that Core0#: (SMP: Disabled). cat /proc/interrupts does not show any abnormalities as far as I can see. dmesg | grep smpboot does not show anything smp related. Do I have to assume that core0 is broken? Anything else to pinpoint the problem? Hi, Inspired by the thread with @tiwai in M17N list, I created this: https://forum.suse.org.cn/leap.html This shows packages that are in Factory but not in Leap. The webpage generates from a ruby script from me and refreshes every 6 hours (a cron job) So packagers please help yourselves, just take a look and see if your packages are left behind.
