[opensuse-factory] Petition HP to release WebOS as FOSS.

Friends, I just created a petition entitled Hewlett-Packard Company: Release the HP WebOS as GPL Open Source code., because I care deeply about this very important issue. I apologize ahead of time if this is deemed inappropriate for these mailing lists, but I felt it was pertinent. If not, nothing of this sort will occur again. I'm trying to collect 100 signatures, and I could really use your help. [opensuse-factory] Sponsorship for small community computer lab?

I work with a small group in my city called the Blood Orange InfoShop (BOIS). I host my Linux Users Group, and Linux workshops at that location. They generally call themselves an Anarchist Collective. They believe in Do It Yourself Culture, thus they hold workshops and discussion groups in order to educate one another and fortify the community. Frankly, its hard to define them since they are simply based abround the idea of community mainly. In any event, they are moving to a larger location soon and want to have a computer lab. We intend to have classes on computer literacy and productivity, Linux and FOSS, and courses on how to participate in open source projects as well as basic programming courses. I am hoping to find some degree of sponsorship... any help is welcome. Even just posters would be good (I'm an Ambassador, so I could use some propoganda). Hello all, We cannot download the Milestone 5 64-bit DVD from http://software.opensuse.org/developer/en When clicking on the 64-bit download button we keep getting "Object Not Found". The error message: 'uncompress' is defined in DSO /usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/4.6/../../../libz.so so try adding it to the linker command line But adding -lz to the linker does not help. [opensuse-factory] Sound - Milestone 5

What has changed the sound. Yast2 Hardware works and KDE4 fails as a user (not tried as root yet). All that is found in Multimedia is that darn "Dummy". Phonon is off and /etc/group has the user on audio. Hello, Question: Is it possible M5 to install with grub-efi ? I make a (U)EFI installation and the last Message is a Error By Creating the initrd /sbin/elilo file not found ? I know nothing so far about systemd but I'd like to do a fresh installation of M5 and I want to enable systemd in it. Does this need to be done at the time of the initial installation? How? Can this be changed afterwards? How?
