Hey Group;
In my passed life I owned a business where I used filepro+ or profile+
It was highly customizable. I am looking for a current Office Ledger
(double entry) software package for Linux. Does anyone know of one that
interfaces with sql light, mysql or postgres? It will used for US tax
records

Hi Andreas,
I presume that the mentioned RC2 is an internal release?
Two questions about it:
on RC1 i saw that perl-DBD-mysql is not included any more
As we use mysql a lot from perl-scripts, its an unpleasent surprize.
Will this package be available?
Second one, more or less passed on the list,
the python script that launches xen-guest is not capable anymore to
extract the kernel/initrd from a dom-u disk-image.
That's something that was perfectly working under 10.2.
otoh, when i provide initrd&kernel explicitly, i'm perfectly able to run
10.1 guests on a 10.3 DOM-0 (both 64-bit)
Is this solved?
I presume these are "known features @suse", thus nothing for
bugzilla....
Hans
Since the DVD9s are being sent off for shipping, I thought I'd
interest myself again by taking a look at some Bugzilla statistics
again. So why not share? :-)
Without further ado (and no double-checking)...
There was a total of 6708 bugs reported; a massive 5308 of these were
CLOSED/RESOLVED already (~80%). 258 of these were blockers, and 567 of
them were critical.[0] 3138 are RESOLVED+FIXED.
With 3258 bug reports (and the top three bug reporters), the
non-Novell Community makes up 49% of all bug reports in openSUSE 10.3.
918 different people reported those bugs! 423 of them reported 1 bug
report; 128 of them reported 2. 773 of them reported 9 or less.
The top 10 bug reporters are:
andreas.hanke(a)gmx-topmail.de 350
dcb314(a)hotmail.com 180
casualprogrammer(a)yahoo.com 177
aj(a)novell.com 165
locilka(a)novell.com 149
stbinner(a)novell.com 148
olh(a)novell.com 124
dmueller(a)novell.com 117
mboman(a)novell.com 116
holgi(a)novell.com 95
Please buy them an extra beer! Or if you really want to thank them,
cider ;-). ahanke hasn't reported anything for over 4 months (where
are you!).
300 different people or teams had bugs assigned to them.
The bug with the most duplicates[1] is Bug 240922[2], with 18. Beta 2
had the most bugs filed against it,[3] taking 873 of the total.
100% of the votes say openSUSE 10.3 is an awesome release 8).
That's all for now :-)

Is EVMS a dead project?
We use it on SLES10.1 servers at work, it's not good news if EVMS disapears...

Hello,
from http://en.opensuse.org/Meetings/Status_Meeting_2007-08-01/transcript
<coolo> we're currently discussing if we provide USB live images too
What was the result? There seems to be interest (see news.o.o comments).
Bye,
Steve

Can someone please tell me when the DVD of GM10.3 will be made
available? (GM on the other media is now already available.)
Cheers.
