--- Comment #2 from Wolfgang Rosenauer wolfgang@rosenauer.org --- Can you please list what other packages were updated along this one? I do not see that issue on my Tumbleweed (yet) with the same FF and TB versions.

--- Comment #3 from Johannes Krottmayer krjdev@gmail.com --- Sorry for my late response. Currently I renovate my apartment because of technical issues with my home network. Today I will receive a big package with CAT8 Ethernet equipment. :) Used too old cables for my network... But 40GBit with CAT8 should be enough for the next 10 years. ;)
I have narrowed down the issue:
Firefox and Thunderbird requires currently a IPv6 connection. If this the router from the ISP only supports IPv4, these Mozilla programs are very slow. (Very slow startup and handling.
I think I don't need to provide a list of the installed packages. There are no troubles with the packages.

--- Comment #4 from Johannes Krottmayer krjdev@gmail.com --- I forgot:
My current (old) setup or my connection to the WWW:
ISP Router (VDSL 300MBit downstream) -> Linksys WRT32X (with OpenWrt) -> To the devices (PC, SMart TV, PS4 Pro).
When I disable IPv6 in my main router (LinkSys WRT33X) Firefox and Thunderbird are extremely slow.
Tried to disable IPv6 in about:config. But doesn't help.

--- Comment #5 from Johannes Krottmayer krjdev@gmail.com --- My ISP only (A1 Telekom/Austria) currently only provide IPv6 for business customers as far I know.
So I think this issue with the Mzilla products should be fixed. As I wrot, NO troubles with Google Chrome and the rest of the system.

Accidentally stumbled over this article some time ago - it seems IPv6 could be available also for A1 business customers: https://kofler.info/ipv6-eine-leidensgeschichte-aus-oesterreich/
