For a long while (think 15+ years) I have been using firefox --new-tab <url> to add a new tab to an existing Firefox instance, for example to open URLs from a mail client. With MozillaFirefox-100.0.2-1.1.x86_64 on Tumbleweed I am not getting a delay of multiple seconds after which the following dialog pops up: Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To use Firefox, you must first close the existing Firefox process, restart your device, or use a different profile.
