I don't believe that is the reason for the crash reported here:

I had seen that bug report, however looking at the linked (Mozilla) bug reports
the reason for the crash is either "EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT" or "EXC_BAD_ACCESS /
KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS".

Whereas in this (Mozilla) bug report instance, link in comment #11, all reports
give the reason as "SIGILL / ILL_ILLOPN".

Also, interestingly, disregarding 5 duplicated reports, 16 out of 17 list the
OS as "openSUSE Tumbleweed" (the 17th being a generic "Linux"). 16/17 seems a
little more than coincidence maybe?
