RE: [suse-linux-uk-schools] Suse Open Exchange Server
Hi, I wanted to know what methods are available for en masse user account creation from say, a comma separated file (.csv) etc,. We've got 2000 users and the manuals are hardly 'in depth' on the subject.... regards Jon Lawson-Broadhead IT Support Manager -----Original Message----- From: Chris Puttick [mailto:Chris.Puttick@euroele.com] Sent: 01 November 2003 18:04 To: Jon Lawson-Broadhead Subject: RE: [suse-linux-uk-schools] Suse Open Exchange Server I'm pretty comfortable with the solution. http://portal.suse.de/sdb/en/2002/12/rsimai_slox_bulkadd.html might be of some help. However, you'll need some perl/awk/shell script to pick the data out of it and put it in the format for the command-line tools. Dan

I discussed this issue at great length before on this list. If you look through the list archives for this mailing list, you will see it. -- Thomas Adam ===== Thomas Adam "The Linux Weekend Mechanic" -- http://linuxgazette.net "TAG Editor" -- http://linuxgazette.net ________________________________________________________________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends?
