Network Monitoring/ Tracking
Hi, A local school we work closely with has asked us if we have any thoughts on the best way they can go about monitoring the network more closely as it is becoming quite a beast. They're are asking for the ability to set thresholds and alarms and the such down to individual PC's (probably best done at the switch) and are also after trying to analyse the type of traffic coming from machines. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated, or any systems that people have in place in their school already and wouldn't mind discussing I would like to know about.
