[opensuse-edu] Contribution to the Education Project
Hi there, my name is Sebastian Dziallas, I am a german student and I would like to contribute to the openSUSE Education Project. To introduce myself a little bit more, I am part of a group of students, who are administrating at our school the computer system together with two teachers. At the moment we have a mixed environment, with mainly Windows Computers. But since I (and also one of the teachers) am using openSUSE at home, we would also like to extend the number of computers running Linux. Since we have now holidays it is a bit difficult to test a lot of packages in our system, but in the future, we could test the different packages. So I could for example propose to translate now some wiki pages: I am a native german speaker, but I also speak English and partly French. Maybe, you could let me know how I can help you. You are very welcome! :D Can you tell me from which part of germany you are from?

As you might noticed already, we are currently preparing a lot of packages in the openSUSE-Education Repositories. And have already a lot of stuff written down at the openSUSE wiki about this. A good starting point for pages which might be translated to german is: http://en.opensuse.org/Category:Education I'm currently on a long vacation (until end of september) and have surely forgotten a lot of notes at the moment. But if some delay doesn't hurt you, you can just write me PM (or at opensuse-education-de@opensuse.org) if you want to talk german ;-) Regards (mit freundlichem Grinsen), Lars -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-edu+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-edu+help@opensuse.org
Hi Lars! In the past, I had a lot of things to do, and that is why I have not created any articles yet. But in the future, I will soon start to do so... Well, it is Lower Saxony (next to Hannover) ;-).
