Here, here about school/educational software on opensource. I've just been told that my proposed terminal server setup won't get the go ahead unless I can prove the educational, not financial, viability!
[Simon Wood] What are they trying to achieve....? If it's a teaching aid to Computer Science class then I should have thought the bootp, tftp, networking, nfs, remote applications, etc, would have much to offer the students, If it's supposed to offer a service (such a web-browsing) then the educational aspect should be irrelivant, providing it works.
