Is that because the sender address does not exist? i.e. your getting spam from a non-existent address being sent to any_old_name@yourdomain.co.uk I use a windows mailserver, and my kmail client tells me the same, which I suppose is correct. The best option would be to only accept known accounts (I assume that sendmail does this), I don't use this option since I use non-existent account names to sign to different things and so I can easily block mail if that address gets onto a spam list, but you can otherwise use_any_name@mydomain.co.uk to send me mail. Dose that make sense? Adrian

My sendmail does not bounce unknown users.

The info log shows the user as being unknown but no bounce messages get sent.

Where do I start looking?
