Not pricey at all for schools, although depends how many users. Haven't got latest education prices to hand, but about £500-£600 for 100 (concurrent) user licences including one year maintenance and installation support, and the Web-GUI is brilliant. See:

Can anyone recommend a LINUX mail server with a nice GUI front end.

This is to be administered by a local user with no LINUX / little PC
experience - (I know, dangerous!)

Maybe a web interface would be useful for setting up things like extra
accounts, alias and list maintenance.

This is to replace an existing "computalynx" mailserver running on Win2000.
