Hi Jo
Welcome out of "lurk" mode!
Both information about Crocodile Clips and for info about using open source solutions in schools can be found at SchoolForge UK:
http://schoolforge.org.uk (do join and help where you can)
Crocodile Clips is not easy to replace in schools as it is very specialised, so instead it has been tested (and is used in Linux schools) on the Wine (http://winehq.org) application layer and found to work pretty much perfectly.
Let us know what else the list can help with!
Cheers
Chris

Does anyone know of an alternative to crocodile clips,
have looked everywhere even on the old posts on the SuSe
mailing list to no avail.
Many Thanks
