Directory Access Question--Teachers Views.

I would like teachers to be able to see students directories from a Windows machine through Samba--but only directories inside the home directory. Later I want to refine it to only their students. Teachers are in a group called staff. Students are in 4 groups (s2005, s2006 etc) I really don't want all of them on the server itself with root access. Hi If you want to allow the publishing of student websites while retaining control, have a look at Site@School: http://siteatschool.sourceforge.net/index.php aimed at primary schools officially, but it might fit the bill for you. I really would like to host the pupils' sites so they can be seen from home. "Look at what I did today mum". However, this is a great leap of faith. I guess ISPs have the same problem. If I do open it up I will get parental permission and disclaimers set up - only pupils that have signed up would be able to publish sites. At the moment the pupils websites can only be viewed internally. egroupware

Hi all: I am trying to set-up egroupware on a server so that I can use it for school (the default RM one is less than useful and rather limited). I have looked at line 184 which is really just asking for username and password. Other than that, the messages mean something to me, such as 'certificate failure' which is some sort of validation? Hi, Someone here posted up a plone site about 8 months ago. It was to demonstrate what could be done with open source software (almost) out of the box. Well, thanks! I got into plone as a direct result. Our site's just gone live.
