here's a package that might be a good candidate for the "smallest contrib package" award ;-) (installed filesize: around 5k)

OpenSUSE Integration (init.d, SUSEconfig, permissions.d, etc): cron.daily script: /etc/cron.daily/patch2mail

Testing Status: Tested on i386, but should work everywhere (noarch package). Previous version (for 11.0) also tested on x86_64.

Note: I did not open a submit request against Contrib (yet). Feel free to link or copy the package from home:cboltz ;-)
