I'm not a python packaging expert, but the package looks OK to me. Latest release was in 2002, but I guess it's not a problem for a 200-line script ;). Michal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

OK, If MMarek tested it, then it goes in. -- -Alexey Eromenko "Technologov" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

Hmm, ok, can I add it then? I was hoping for a "I like it"/"I don't like it" comment on http://en.opensuse.org/Contrib/Adding_new_packages before we start. Michal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

I have already gave my comments regarding "Adding_new_packages" - and it basically was the same as it is now, with small clarifications (such as required test of LKMs on both architectures, and other small things)... So yes, we need to proceed. Yes, I like it. ============================================================= BTW: Packages that were in Factory can be included in "contrib" more easily. Perhaps KDE3 might get into contrib next year. -- -Alexey Eromenko "Technologov" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org
BTW: Packages that were in Factory can be included in "contrib" more easily. I have modified the wiki page to include a rule for Factory->Contrib package migration.

I think there may be pretty major flow of packages from factory to contrib, this is why the requirements are lessened. -- -Alexey Eromenko "Technologov" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

I like it. I think it should be added along with the others mentioned. - -- Boyd Gerber <gerberb@zenez.com> ZENEZ 1042 East Fort Union #135, Midvale Utah 84047 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAkjbvrQACgkQVtBjDid73eZkIACeONydB9J52r1WTDM7B/pvFObh 8RUAn2gIP+Yc83tKT66ID+QAw4QJxMpl =EVDu -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

OK, first contrib package... and fails due to an rpmlint bug :-( Michal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

James, could you please remove this line <devel project="home:cthiel1:Factory"/> from the package metadata? home:cthiel1:Factory/python-GnuPG-Interface is a dead link to Factory and referring to it just confuses osc branch (should someone want to modify your package). thanks, Michal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

I thought that sources will be in openSUSE:Factory:Contrib and all maintainers will have links to their home:*:Contrib projects, so they could create submitreq. Yes, we will replace the links to home project with copies soon. But James' package metadata should be fixed independent of that :). Michal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

Oops. I didn't realise those would stay in the metadata. Fixed in home:jimfunk and home:jimfunk:Contrib. -- James Oakley jfunk@funktronics.ca -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org
