 BACULA 3.0.0
Bacula is a set of programs that allow you to manage the backup,
recovery, and verification of computer data across a network of
different computers. It is based on a client/server architecture and
is efficient and relatively easy to use, while offering many advanced
storage management features that make it easy to find and recover lost
or damaged files.
This release introduces a new catalog format to allow storage of bigger
number of files. New features include Accurate Backup (tracks deleted
files across incremental and differential backups), Copy Jobs (backup
and restore of Extended Attributes), and Virtual Backup (consolidates
separate backup jobs into one). This release also introduces a 64-bit
Windows client, Duplicate Job Control, TLS authentication, and a plugin
to back up Exchange 2003/2007.
