Good day listmates!
I noticed that devel:languages:python is already building against 11.2 for a week and 11.2 is already on "Add Repository" feature on webclient. Can I add it to Contrib repo?
It's already added, but please note that you want to use openSUSE:11.2:Contrib/standard if you want supported Contrib without version updates.
Whoever added it: please remove 11.1 - Contrib is not supposed to build against the whole world.
Hmm, just a thought: Can't we provide openSUSE:Factory:Contrib/openSUSE:11.1 and openSUSE:Factory:Contrib/openSUSE:11.2 with a large warning than only openSUSE:11.2:Contrib/standard is somehow supported?
The downside of building oS:F:C for 11.1/11.2 are packages that were dropped from factory, or get to factory later (see issues with json-glib in another thread). We have to take care of properly disabling build of such packages for individual targets. Or should we just ignore troubles (package conflicts) in oS:F:C/11.[12], as those targets are unsupported? Personally, I wouldn't mind removing 11.[12] targets completely... -- Best regards / s pozdravem Petr Uzel, openSUSE Boosters Team ----------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: puzel@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 http://www.suse.cz 190 00 Prague 9, CR
