In order to get DeepSea into Leap 42.3 [0], we first need to get it into Tumbleweed. This could be accomplished by first getting it into filesystems:ceph [1] and then submitting it to openSUSE:Factory [2] from there, in accordance with [3] (this includes writing an "intent to submit" email to the opensuse-factory mailing list). Then we could grit our teeth and wait for the Factory reviewers to tell us what they think about it. Anyone interested in helping me with this Herculean task? If so, the first thing to do would be to submit the current deepsea package to filesystems:ceph and post the SR# here.
