I looked at the log file. I still think it may be a mirror issue. I didn't see anything in zypper.log that told me which mirror was in use. Regardless, from my perspective: wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_11.3/noarch/log2... pulls an out-of-date rpm with v0.51 binaries. ==details if you care I got the exact path (of the 11.3 security repo) out of zypper.log. Then I used wget to pull it and rpm to install it. The rpm is label v0.61 but contains v0.51 binaries. I have v0.61 from the 12.1 security repo and it has the right binaries in it, so there is something wrong with: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_11.3/noarch/log2...
