Hi, Is there a way to send an e-mail to all the maintainers of a project (say project FOO) on build.o.o, for instance to escalate a long-pending sr for a pkg whose pkg-maintainer may not be responding, etc.? I see that the web-ui provides a link to e-mail each of the maintainers individually, but no such help to send one to the whole group.

osc maintainer -e should give you all addresses so you can copy/paste. AFAIK there is no such group function

I have created a pull request to address this issue: https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/pull/13754. This is something which should have already been present in the web UI. I expect this to be deployed to build.o.o in the upcoming days.

You can add a comment to the SR, which will trigger a notification to all maintainers related to the SR.

Yeah, but that would be publicly visible. There could be use-cases where you would want to send an email instead, for confidentiality.

This is now live. As an example, you can visit https://build.opensuse.org/groups/alp-release-maintainers and below the group members, you will see a mailto link to write an email to that group. Be sure to be logged in to see that link as this is to prevent malicious bots from spamming those email addresses. Not all groups have an email address, but when they do, that mailto link will be present.

In my opinion, it would be perhaps useful to have something exactly similar to allow emailing all science project users, for example, with one click from the page https://build.opensuse.org/project/users/science.
