Adding EPEL Modular repository
Hello, currently, https://build.opensuse.org/repositories/Fedora:EPEL:8 only contains /epel/8/Everything from the mirrors. Can you please also add /epel/8/Modular ? This would give a couple more useful packages under the EPEL brand like cobbler. Thank you and best wishes, Stefan

done, there is now a "modular" repository.

Thank you Adrian,
Can you please assist me on the usage? I am not able to make it work.
Example package (spec only requires "cobbler" from epel modular):
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:sbluhm/cobblerdep
Project repository:
CentOS_8 x86_64
Repository paths:
Fedora:EPEL:8/modular
Fedora:EPEL:8/standard
AlmaLinux:8/standard
Project Config:
ExpandFlags: module:cobbler-3
There is still the package message: "unresolvable: nothing provides cobbler".
I can't think of what I might be doing wrong (unless I misspelled the module...).
On a local Alma machine:
$ dnf module info cobbler
Name : cobbler
Stream : 3
Version : 820211008043036
Context : 9edba152
Architecture : x86_64
Profiles : default [d]
Default profiles : default
Repo : epel-modular
Summary : Versatile Linux deployment server
Description : Cobbler is a Linux installation server that allows for rapid setup of network installation environments. It glues together and automates many associated Linux tasks so you do not have to hop between lots of various commands and applications when rolling out new systems, and, in some cases, changing existing ones. It can help with installation, DNS, DHCP, package updates, power management, configuration management orchestration, and much more.

yeah, that error message is a bit misleading. When you run
osc buildinfo -d
you can find a line
nothing provides httpd needed by cobbler-3.2.2-3.module_el8+13166+f291d70c.noarch@Fedora:EPEL:8/modular
so missing httpd seems to be the real problem.
(we need to improve the unresolvable error in that case)

Thank you Adrian,
that indeed solved it.
Also thank you for explaining how to check these issues in future. I was wondering how you do that.
Best wishes,
Stefan

actually, the error message would have been fine. The other cause was an outdated mirror of the
repository it seems.
