[opensuse-buildservice] Have choice - Debian 5.0 - svgalib
I'm getting this for Debian 5.0 repos: have choice for svgalibg1 | svgalib-dummyg1 needed by libsdl1.2debian-alsa: libsvga1 svgalibg1 It's tied to dependency with libsdl1.2-dev, I'll work around it by adding to the dependencies explicitly, but I read on the FAQ that I should let you guys know so it can be resolved for all. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

According to this[0], svgalibg1, except on Debian 6.0 which it changed its provides to libsvga1. Ubuntu seems to still be using the svgalibg1 name. okay, Debian:5.0 is prefering that one now. -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

That was fast :-D Thanks a lot - Debian 5.0 seems to need explicitly svgalib1-libggi2 (that's what svgalibg1 should resolve to, but somehow it's complaining about it now - spelling it explicitly may be better). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

PS: the weird thing, is that only the 32-bit (i586) repo complains about svgalib1-libggi2. x86_64 works flawless with the added preference. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Just to be clear, leaving the earlier preference, the new conflict is: "have choice for libsvga1 needed by svgalibg1: libsvga1 svgalib1-libggi2" Adding svgalib1-libggi2 in my project solves it for Debian 5.0 (and breaks everything else). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
