[opensuse-buildservice] Open Build Service 2.9.2 released
OBS 2.9.2 released ================== We're happy to announce the release of Open Build Service Version 2.9.2. This release mainly fixes a broken data migration which caused instances with a configured remote instance (interconnect) to potentially delete repositories reported by Neal Gompa last week. If you haven't upgraded from 2.8 yet or you don't have a remote instance configured, there shouldn't be any problem. In the case you already upgraded with a configured remote instance it might be necessary to schedule a consistence check. For more information see the attached release notes or the relevant bug report (https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/issues/4761). Install 2.9 ========= Please read our setup instructions https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/blob/2.9/README.md#installati... or even better, use our appliance http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OBS:/Server:/2.9/images/ Update to OBS 2.9 =============== In case you update from a previous OBS stable release please read the README.UPDATERS file which comes with this version. https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/blob/2.9/dist/README.UPDATERS OBS Appliance users who have set up their LVM http://openbuildservice.org/download/#appliance_config can just replace their appliance image without data loss. The migration will happen automatically. Details from Release Notes =================== Features ======== Frontend: * Admins can now mark user to be managed locally instead via LDAP * Cloud uploads can be managed (started, aborted and listed) via API Bugfixes ======== Frontend: * Fixed issue in live build log that caused parts of the log being duplicated * Upgrading from 2.8 to 2.9 caused remote repositories with same name to get deleted - If the instance got already upgraded and an interconnect is configured, it might be necessary to restore the database with data from the backend - This can be done with 'rake.ruby2.5 fix_project <project>' -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
