Hey guys,
I'm trying to install OBS to a VM, everything installs without a problem, but when it gets to the login part, I'm stuck, I have no username/password for it and when I go to http://obsserver:5252 all I get is a message about XML, so I can't login that way either.
Is there any documentation about how to install it?
Thanks.
Hello Jorge,
look here:
http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_Installation_Tutorial
http://gitorious.org/opensuse/build-service/blobs/raw/master/dist/README.SET...
When using the openSUSE::Tools package, the inital login data are "Admin"/"opensuse" at the https url (port 443, not 5252)
To start working with the OBS instance, here is a good point of entry:
http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_private_instance
Regards, Oliver

Thanks, but still using port 443 I get this:
Ruby (Rack) application could not be started, I will see if I find anything in the documentation.

Also, when I go to http://myobsserverip, I get that OBS has not been setup because network was not found even though I can see an IP when DHCP Client starts.

That port is only for internal usage of OBS.
Do you try with the official appliance? You can find it here:
http://openbuildservice.org/download/
If a dhcpcd server, which assigns a valid name is running in your network everything should be fine after starting it.
Just login with Admin/opensuse credentials.
get is a message about XML, so I can't login that way either.
Is there any documentation about how to install it?
Thanks.
Any idea why the appliance downloaded from the link below says it doesn't get an IP when I can see it when it's starting, therefore it doesn't install and I can't use it?
Thanks.
