[opensuse-buildservice] being up to date
Hello, I have a local BS, where I recompile a couple of BS repos (KDE 4.1 and extra apps) and some packages for openSUSE 11.0 PPC. My question is, if there is an easy way to check, if a repository or package has changed since I last compiled it. Right now all I can do is to compare dates or version numbers manually. The ideal would be an e-mail alert, if a package I mark somewhere is changed... You speak about updating the sources, right ? You can create just source links to the package in the other build service. A _link file with <_link project="openSUSE.org:KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop" package="libqt4" /> should take away manual syncing burden ;) bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Yes.

Does it also work for openSUSE 11.0 *PPC*? Last time I asked, I was sent a script by Martin Mohring, which copies sources from one BS to another one, as PPC was not supported by the BS. The architecture should not matter for the source interconnect. Btw, even OBS has ppc now, it is just that only Factory is enabled. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

OK, then how do I create a link with 'osc' or the web client from the local BS to api.opensuse.org? As far as I can see, both are only prepared to do linking within the same BS...
