[opensuse-buildservice] buildservice is driving me nuts - openSUSE 11.1 and Factory unable to use KDE:KDE4:Factory?

interesting little snippet: other packages of mine build just fine against KDE 4.3.1 for openSUSE 11.1 in the same OBS project. What the f* is going wrong there? bye, MH -- gpg key fingerprint: 5F64 4C92 9B77 DE37 D184 C5F9 B013 44E7 27BD 763C -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Delete your 'kdelibs4' package which builds libkdecore4-devel version 4.2.4.1 instead of 4.3.1? You disabled the build of it for 10.3/11.0, that's why it works for those two. This means, bildservice walks through the layers of repostiories once, finds the required package by only looking at the package name, then checks if the version number matches and does *not* continue searching the remaining repositories if it does not match. *headslap* thanks a lot! ..still, why do other kde4 packages in my 11.1 subtree build perfectly against kde 4.3.1, but not that one... bye, MH -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
