Revision control looks like a natural fit for (at least) the following: * easy patch generation (branching) of existing packages. And the following should, I expect, be backed by it: * merge request mechanism * creating interface for viewing existing merge requests and select them * merge handling. And distributed revision control in particular looks useful for: * inter build service connection functionality.
