So back to my initial question, if I only have one path in the repository and I would like it not be recursively included
Why would you want to do that? You always need the packages (and project configuration) from the base distribution in order to build anything at all.
Because I'm building a base distribution on my private instance...
In other words, I'm bootstrapping it from some other distribution. And I would like my 2nd pass build to only use packages from my 1st pass build, not from the "original other distribution".
well, by default it is prefered from the local repo.
To get sure, just remove the path element to check if your build is still working or some critical packages are missing.
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes I thought about this too, but was also wondering whether there is a better way than editing the meta back and forth.
you can also check via "osc buildinfo" where your binaries are coming from ..
