Hi,
Are there any tools, processes to handle .changes files in the build service?
I had heard that eventually suse packages would submit through the buildservice instead of to autobuild. If this is the case, I'm wondering whether or not to use the .changes file in the buildservice.
Internally we use "vc" from /work/src/bin/ ... which is just some cat, vi ... magic shell script.
Right, but then it goes through some post processing to get inserted into the .spec file once the package gets checked in.
It is a bit different, the "magic" shell script doesn't actually more than editing the .changes file.
Any plans to do this processing for the build service? (I'm really only wondering whether I should update the .changes or the .spec file ;)
This is actually done by the buildservice since some time. Thus, edit the changes file. :) Peter -- Allen Gewalten zum Trutz sich erhalten. SUSE LINUX Products GmbH Research & Development
