[opensuse-buildservice] Home repositories are not published. Publisher service for backend-home forgotten ??

Hi, It seems that all home projects are no longer publishing after the split of the backend. Checking the services on the monitor page, the thing that can be noticed is that the backend-home does not have a publisher. It has everything else that backend-main has, but NOT A PUBLISHER !! I guess that in all the stress, somebody forgot that service ?? Or is there some other errors ? It would be nice if this gets resolved so that we can call the split a success. Hello folks, So, here is my GSoC 2013 update for the week ending on 06/09/2013 Moving on, 1. What have I done in past weeks? Before I begin, let me say I am sorry I coudnt post regular updates for a while. Moved to a whole new place and with classes started already got a little caught up. After the midterms, we have successfully implemented the feature for the user to edit/delete comment with respective rights. Apart from that, another/last goal of the GSoC project was to have OBS commenting system talk to Hermes for delivering notification updates to the users for which the code work is done and I have already opened up the PR. 2. What am I doing this week? Since the code work is done, I now look forward to feedback and comments of other OBS hackers and get it all implemented/fixed before Sep 16. [opensuse-buildservice] Preinstall: project configuration order

Hi all, we are noticing build failures because "filesystem" isn't installed 1st. See buildlog snippet below. Even when we list "filesystem" in the "Preinstall" section of the repo project configuration, it is not installed 1st. Anyone have an idea how to fix that ? Thanks in advance. It seems to be even worse now as the symlinks aren't there at all now, see for example [1] and [2]. [opensuse-buildservice] OBS home split still in progress

Hi guys, just a short heads up on the split of the home: projects to a new server: the rsync to the new disk is taking longer than expected, my guess is that we can re-enable the builds tomorrow morning (i.e. in about 16 hours). (It seems like the bottleneck is actually the reads of the old files, so the filesystem seems to be a bit fragmented. We'll have a bit of more room after the split.) [opensuse-buildservice] About the recently deployed "home" view

Hi guys, It seems like the recently deployed home view includes "involved requests". This is what we had years ago and IMO is quite confusion. What's good is that we nowadays have better filtering but with the new view, I'm not able to review only Factory requests but filter those out that are from myself. Since there's no request state column, I can't filter on "in review" or "declined" either. So I'd like to propose sth. different, here's my ascii-art: incoming (10) | outgoing (5) | patchinfos Usually, you are mostly interested in incoming requests. That means requests to projects where you hold any (maintainer, bugowner, reviewer) rights but are not the submitter. Similarly, "outgoing" would only display "your" requests to wherever. If both tables would include request state, I guess it's ok to have the old "declined requests" as part of outgoing. [opensuse-buildservice] armv6l build broken?

Hi, there is no build job for armv6l ATM whereas there are builds scheduled. Is there any problem? [opensuse-buildservice] Please expect an OBS downtime on thursday

Heya, please expect a bit longer downtime of OBS on thursday. We are about to install a second binary backend server to handle the increasing number of builds, repository state calculations and storage needs. So we will do a final sync of all home:* projects to the new server on thursday before we can become productive again. We do not expect any technical problems due to the split though. [opensuse-buildservice] Building Qt5 on a OBS appliance

Good Evening, I'm using the OBS appliance and try to build the Qt5 debian package on it and I am running into a request limit of the api.opensuse.org system. The query/request that is being made is here[1].
