Hi,
I'm doing a local build with:
osc co openSUSE:Factory _product:openSUSE-dvd5-dvd-i586
cd openSUSE:Factory/_product:openSUSE-dvd5-dvd-i586
osc build images i586
Aftes some time downloading it stops with the message:
Getting buildinfo from server and store to
/home/slxrobot/openSUSE:Factory/_product:openSUSE-dvd5-dvd-i586/.osc/_buildinfo-images-i586.xml

Any ideas what is wrong? Restart osc does not help, which usually does.

Are there any docs on using pre_checkin.sh? I tried to copy from the
openldap2 package in factory, but it doesn't appear to be working.
Thanks,
Peter

Hi all,
I was wondering, how can you copy an OBS project and its packages?
Like how you guys copy off openSUSE:Factory to openSUSE:11.3?

Hi,
We find the 1.8 official release today. It's better than the RC5. Thank you guys.
With the 1.8 release version, I am able to create some private packages and I still have some questions. Could some one confirm that? Thanks.
Here is my matrix. The first 2 columns are the flags for the project. The 3rd column is the effect when another user try to access the project/packages.
sourceaccess, privacy, effect
disable, disable, the other user (not in the user list of the project) can see the project only but not packages
enable,disable,same
disable, enable, the other user can see the project and the package. but no package downloading
enable, enable, the other user can see and download the project and packages
Is it the correct behaviour? So 2 flags are in package level instead of project level. (The project is always published)
And there are 2 new permissions: "source_access" and "private_view". What are they for?

Dengyi

Subject: how to read access control in OBS 1.8
Hi,
I want to create a project which is private to some group only but no success. Could someone shed some light on me? Thanks.
More particular, I have the following questions.
1) Is the OBS 1.8 RC5 the release version? I download them from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tools:/MeeGo/openSUSE_1…. If not, where should I get the release version?
2) There are 2 new flags are added for a project. "sourceaccess" and "privacy". What's mean for these 2? I believe I need to set to "enable" for "privacy" for a project. How about "souceaccess"
3) There are 2 new permissions too: "source_access" and "private_view". How do I use them?
4) After the project is created, who has and who does not have the privilege to read/write the project?
Actually, I am wandering, is there a manual for OBS, especially for the
role/permission part. Thanks.
Regards,

Hi,
I just rebuild the Factory dvd5 i686:
osc co openSUSE:Factory _product:openSUSE-dvd5-dvd-i586
cd openSUSE\:Factory/_product\:openSUSE-dvd5-dvd-i586/
osc build images i586
I get this output:
Building openSUSE-dvd5-dvd-i586.kiwi for images/i586

/home/slxrobot/openSUSE:Factory/_product:openSUSE-dvd5-dvd-i586/.osc/_buildinfo-images-i586.xml

The resulting iso is broken because the packages are missing.
It seem that packages, that are not found in the cache and are not downloaded by osc.
Also the dependencies are much to low. Should be something near 13500
dependencies.
How can I force dependencie resolution or rebuild cache? Deleting the osc cache does not help and produce
the same results.

Stefan

Hi, I'm currently using osc-0.127 and every time I check in a package it
complains about _link and the backup files from quilt and kwrite etc.
ending with a tilde "~". The previous versions of osc ignored these files.
Is it ok to report these things on this list?

Hello,
I try too build openSUSE:Factory/_product:openSUSE-dvd5-dvd-x86_64
During prcessing osc build images x86_64
I get ....
Using package:
/var/tmp/osbuild-packagecache/openSUSE:Factory:Live/standard/x86_64/openSUSE-release-usb-x11-11.3-1.71.x86_64.rpm
Verifying integrity of cached packages
[Errno 7] Argument list too long
All packages needed for the build are cached. Is there an option to
extent the argument list of osc somehow?
I'm using osc version 0.125.5 on openSUSE 11.2 fully updated
Any ideas?
