Upcoming 1.6/1.7 releases ========================= 1.6 RC 1 will get create as soon as Martin Mohring gives his okay, adrian will check with him. 1.7 milestone gets added to roadmap, because 2.0 has too many planned features and some features to for improving Factory source handling. Discussion if we include We estimated 3 month to get new web client 2.0 running with the feature set of old web client. In that case it would be part of 1.7 release. User data management together with iChain ========================================= User data is only changing on login with iChain setups. This is no problem for the build service instance, but it is a problem for the hermes instance, because login happens rarely. Suggestion is to let iChain server push to a central opensuse server, like users.o.o which distributes this data to other server instances below opensuse.org. [opensuse-buildservice] [PATCH] Display average building time on obs monitor page

Hi ! The attached patches display the average time needed to build a package per arch below the "Blocked Queue" on the monitor page. It uses exponential smoothing (smoothing factor 0.3) to calculate the average. Have phun! Jan-Simon

Hi, JFYI, there was a new Fedora 10 arm release, which got deployed now. We hope that we do not need some workarounds anymore with this one. But I hope the Fedora:10 arm is frozen now. Btw, there is already a small project building with SUSE package here https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=Base:build:arm Currently bootstrapping against Fedora 10. [opensuse-buildservice] armv5el builds fail on Ubuntu 9.04 and Debian 5.0

Hello all, Is the armv5el building ready for Ubuntu / Debian? I have this problem when everything seems to build fine, but there's a kernel panic in the end and the build status is "failed". While branching these packages, I lost my network connection. However afterwards I saw them and a few days later I removed the main project. I guess that this must have caused the error. Hi, I've got an issue where a package cannot be removed from a project although the package is listed in the project's webclient interface. To be removed package is mozilla:Factory mozilla-xulrunner181: wolfi@Hygiea:~> osc deletepac mozilla:Factory mozilla-xulrunner181 Server returned an error: HTTP Error 404: Not Found package 'mozilla-xulrunner181' does not exist in project 'mozilla:Factory' "osc meta pkg mozilla:Factory mozilla-xulrunner181" returns meta data for the package though. Could someone with admin rights probably fix it by removing the package? [opensuse-buildservice] osc bl does not behave as expected
