[opensuse-buildservice] OBS web client: does auto refresh work for anybody?

Regarding either build.opensuse.org or a deployed OBS instance, does "Start Refreshing" work for anybody? Also, there are *lots* of 404 errors with CSS files on the build.opensuse.org OBS instance. Hi all, I'm trying to build a package that requires RealTime linux. There is a "simulation" mode for the build, which allows me to try and get the build working, where it disables building the Real Time parts. However, I'll eventually get to a point where I need to build the whole thing. Is it possible to build against SLERT with the OpenSuSE build service? [opensuse-buildservice] support for unified diffs

Hi, I wrote a small patch which adds support for unified diffs to the backend. At the moment the diff between two revisions has an "unusual" format (at least I'm not familiar with it). So it would like to add the option to get an unified, svn-like diff. [opensuse-buildservice] new build hosts and instances

Hello, I have upgraded all build hosts to openSUSE 11.1 based systems now and seems to work quite well so far. What does that mean ? * The kernel, running during a build is now the XEN kernel from openSUSE 11.1 ( it was the XEN kernel from SLES 10 SP 2 before ). * loop devices exist in build instances, this allow kiwi system image building , if it is permitted for a project. * Mandriva 2009 builds should work now much better, since their glibc was broken together with the older kernel. Please report if you see unexpected changes. Hello Folks, i've builded any Packages, and all works fine (11.0, 11.1 and Factory!). OSC makes an download from the Server, and downloaded all Requirements. But after commit to OBS only Factory not works. Many Requirements or Depencies. But why osc works fine, and OBS not? [opensuse-buildservice] Confusing (contradicting) error message about a java compiler

Hi, when I build a package with precompiled java classes on openSUSE_11.1 and beyond I get the following behaviour: With java 1.6.0 installed, following error: FHoSS.jar: de/fhg/fokus/hss/sh/data/ShDataParser.class FHoSS.jar: de/fhg/fokus/hss/sh/ShConstants.class FHoSS.jar: de/fhg/fokus/hss/sh/ShExperimentalResultException.class ERROR: the files above contain java bytecode for something later than java 1.5, ERROR: please set the javac target to 1.5 or lower. error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.99596 (%install) The message is confusing as it states that the classes for later than 1.5. As I build the rpm with java-1.6.0, that should match, but the advice is too use 1.5.0? ERROR: the files above contain java bytecode for something later than java 1.5, ERROR: please set the javac target to 1.5 or lower. Is this correct? Hi Folks, I’m an new Packager in OpenSUSE BuildService, and i like this work. But if i would like to package for Factory, RPMLINT gives me any Errors or warnings. But these things to fix, are very difficult. Our Wiki Side for RPMLINT doesn’t contain many Error or Warningcodes. From my side, i can say, that it's not good to make rpmlint as standard in OBS, and we have not enough dokumentation :-( But yesterday i’ve found an Side, with other Errorcodes from RPMLINT. Today i imported these Codes to our Wikiside http://en.opensuse.org/Packaging/RpmLint. I think it is not possible to list all codes on the Side. But i wish, that the side includes more Codes in the future. No i would like to make an Call for contribution. If every Packager insert the codes, that he knows, we have an good library soon.
