It works extremely slow in that case, but there is no kernel panics or other that bas thing. There are more issues on your system. Please make sure that you don't have any proprietary NVIDIA driver packages still installed. Also, does this issue also occur with UXA 2D acceleration (default)? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I see only dark screen, and not blinking cursor in top left corner. If I press power button systemd shuts down machine, but the screen stays black during shutdown process. I've tried to disable glamoregl, but it looks like intel video driver forces it to load. I have no proprietary nvidia drivers installed. I'm using /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch to turn off the nvidia gpu. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Seems you have messed up your system by upgrading to X11:XOrg packages. I never could reproduce that issue. But others ran into this as well. Possibly you can load UXA if you specify it explicitely in xorg.conf.d snippets (as you did with SNA as well). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Actually I did use snippets in xorg.conf.d to set uxa accelereation. I'll try reinstall XOrg-related packages later, and see if that helps. I've been using X11:XOrg repo since I bought my laptop last year, but I usually install updates once a month or so. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But I noticed this in changelog of glamor package from X11:Xorg: "Glamor has a restriction with xserver branch 1.12.x. The main issue is that glamor rely on the module loading sequence which is not guaranteed by current xserver. Will be fixed in the next version." -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

This is already covered by /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/05-glamor.conf. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But this time it becomes completely unresponsive. What is interesting, it looks like it hangs only at night, maybe even at 0:00 UTC (The last record in /var/log/messages was in 4:03am, I have UTC+4 timezone).
