Type=Link is used e.g. when creating an icon on the desktop for accessing some webpage, which does not make any sense to me for a file in share/applications that points to some .dll files. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=238090 ------- Comment #11 from btimothy@novell.com 2007-01-31 07:18 MST ------- The point of this file is to specify the URL of a local directory. It specifies where the "system" (default) directory of where Tomboy's default plugins are installed. This way, users are able to click on the file via their file browser and view what plugins are installed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=238090 ------- Comment #14 from andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de 2007-03-15 11:08 MST ------- "rm /usr/share/applications/DefaultPlugins.desktop" should be OK as a workaround in the openSUSE package because GNOME#418567 claims that the file does not need to be installed, it is installed only because intltool insists on it.
