Summary: "Save Link as" dialog in Konqueror provides empty
Product: openSUSE 11.2
Version: Milestone 7
Priority: P5 - None
Component: KDE4 Workspace
Found By: ---
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; ru; rv:184.108.40.206)
Seems like this bug still occurs: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=175748
As of OpenSuSE 11.1 with KDE4.3, some of installations have it, some dont.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a page with download links. For example -- with rpm packages.
2. Rightclick on a link (or click it), and choose to download it
3. Watch "Save as.." dialog to appear.
Appeared "Save As.." dialog has empty default filename (i.e ".rpm")
The default filename should be the same as on the server (i.e.
"something-1.2-i586.rpm"). For dynamic links (like
"download.php?name=something") -- as proposed in HTTP headers (see default
behavior of Firefox on sites like SourceForge)
Althogh, it is a "cosmetic" problem, but very annoying one,
that why i mark it as a "normal bug".
I personally suffer from it since KDE 4.0 !!!
