I have a multiboot system with opensuse 11.0 and opensuse 11.1. All X86_64 I creqted a VM on opensuse 11.0 moth ago . This M is located on a physical disk
I installed the opensuse 11.1 xen and booted the xen kernel. I use yast to create VM.
a) I can create a VM from a physical disk with the option " I have a disk or disk image with an installed OS" ==> I use the installed opensuse 11.0 VM
b)I cannot create a new VM where I want to install the OS on another physical disk when I select the virtual disk I cannot select a physical disk Screen input source "phy:/dev/cciss/c0d5" protocol "phy" size (GB) "xxx" if receive an error message "The installation source is using an unsupported protocol." and in the error detail "ftp://, http://, nfs://, smb=//, dev:/"
The dvd is also refused but strange when I change the device the size is correctly refreshed.
Protocol dev cannot by selected
the config file for the "Old" VM is as follow ( imported in a)

--- Comment #4 from Philippe Condé conde.philippe@skynet.be 2009-03-01 13:43:23 MST --- Hi,
I have downloaded and installed the rpm package. But now all my disk are used. I did just a test to see if the physical disk is accepted and it seems that it works. But I didn't go to the creation, I cancelled after the disk selection
Thanks

OK, sounds like the factory package has fixed your issue. Please reopen if problem persists. Thanks!
