As it says, this update should solve your problem. If not, please reopen. You may use the kernel from openSUSE 12.1, as mentioned. Installed Kernel Of The Day (3.5rc6): 20MB/s as expected. I sent a large series just a few days ago that affects this type of problem. It's queued for merging to 3.0-stable and expected to be picked up for 3.2-stable and 3.3-stable if it passes review.
