As I said that the message is harmless, so the system hang was caused by other problem.

No, it isn't. I am using the UEFI without Secure Boot. I already checked the ISO checksum and tried both DVD and NET installers. I am trying to install it from USB Stick and already did an installation in a different machine with Legacy BIOS mode. But yes, maybe there is another issue: when I try to boot the USB the first time I receive the MokListRT message and just below "Welcome to Grub" has a "relocation 0x0 is not implemented yet. Aborted. Press any key yo exit." message. No no, after first boot the "relocation 0x0 ..." disappears. Everytime I take the USB Stick out and plug it in again the same "relocation 0x0 ..." message appears, and then in the second boot (without taking it out) the message just disappears. Exactly! And in addition: I already tested with both DVD and NET installers image and the same issue appears, already installed the same image with the same USB Stick in another BIOS Legacy computer, and the Secure Boot is disabled.

I ran into this very problem as well. Trying to install Leap 42.1 (DVD version what I downloaded yesterday) from a USB drive on a Lenovo S410p laptop. I used dd to create the stick (sudo dd if=openSUSE-Leap-42.1-DVD-x86_64.iso of=/dev/sdb bs=4M; sync), but for some reason I can't boot it as I keep receiving the error: "Failed to set MokListRT: Not Found" and grub just hangs, nothing happens.

After some searching found this and another bug report on the issue (https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=950801#c1 && https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=956954 )

Legacy boot enabled, same thing happens. UEFI boot enabled, same thing happens. Secure boot disabled/enabled, same thing happens. Tried with the net installer too, but the same thing happens.

The fix is not in the Leap 42.1 DVD since we didn't respin the image. You could either try (1) Tumbleweed or (2) replace the bootloaders in DVD on your own. Option (1) is easier. Noted. So it doesn't really matter how I create the Live USB then. Thought will give Studio a go, but in this case it looks a bit pointless. Tumbleweed is a no go in my case so I think I will replace the boot loader if I have time or stick with another distro till you guys respin the image. Thanks for the info, appreciate it!

When booting on Mac Book Pro 2009 I have to choices to boot from (I use DVD) -- "Windows" or "EFI boot". When I select the second option I also get this error, but also the grub options are severely limited, for example there is no "boot from hard disk" option in the menu.

The other difference is in "EFI boot" the low row of functions is missing, the one with "F1 help", "F2 Language" (etc) and also the line with boot options. All those are available only when choosing "Windows" mode.

I don't know if this is related or not, if I should open separate report for it, please let me know.

It's not relevant. It's the difference between the syslinux and grub2 menu. When you choose "Windows", the firmware will boot the legacy bootloader. The default legacy bootloader in DVD is syslinux, so the firmware boot syslinux. When you choose "EFI boot", the firmware will search the bootloader in EFI system partition in DVD. Our default EFI bootloader in DVD is shim. Then shim boots grub2.
