If you do not inform user and password to get access, but if you do not set "protect only input changes" is lost access definitely need to use recue disk. This does not make sense at all. Please answer the following questions: What are you trying to achieve? What exact steps, commands and actions are you performing in which order? What are the messages on screen, what do you see? (text/screenshot) What do you expect to happen?
