(From update of attachment 268508 [details]) There is only a number :/
Yes, that's purpose of the file. 2 means it's hardly blocked. I suppose the combo you've mentioned in the bug description doesn't work? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

No because the combo call a windows software that can choose to switch on or off. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Could you try kotd? ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/kernel/kotd/HEAD/x86_64/
Unfortunately there is no support for ath9k native rfkill in 2.6.27 based kernels. (I suppose, it's ath9k native rfkill, just to be sure, could you post contents of /proc/bus/input/devices?)
When I add the ftp url to yast, it returns "can't create the installation source" -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

No, you must download kernel-default, kernel-default-extra and kernel-default-base manually and install by rpm -ivh kernel-default* Then, you should have your present kernel along with this one in a grub menu. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Does anything change in /sys/class/rfkill/rfkill0/state when you press the button?
Could you attach acpidump output (pmtools package)? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
