[Bug 1041120] New: GNOME Software's search misses many applications.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1041120 Bug ID: 1041120 Summary: GNOME Software's search misses many applications. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.3 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: moritzrakow@web.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- ## Overview There are many applications that GNOME Software does not find. ## Steps to reproduce 1. Open GNOME Software 2. Search for "okular", because maybe you need more mature PDF annotation support than Evince. Or search for "syncthing" and "qtodotxt". All of those are GUI applications in the main OSS repo, and there are probably more examples. ## Actual result "No Application Found" for okular and qtodotxt, only the tray widget (not the GTK app) for Syncthing. ## Expected result All relevant applications matching the search term are shown, similar to zypper or yast. ## Build and hardware USB/DVD install on 64bit laptop, updated to build 0253. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
