Summary: s2ram needs sigterm and mouse pointer disappears
Product: openSUSE 12.3
OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3
Priority: P5 - None
Found By: ---
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:21.0) Gecko/20100101
After update from 12.2 to 12.3, I observe the following strange phenomenon on
system (same system as in bug #809804):
- log in from kdm
- kde starts
- mouse pointer ok
- as root: "s2ram"
- output: "KMS graphics driver is in use, skipping quirks."
- nothing happens
- as root: "killall s2ram"
- system does suspend to ram
- pressing a key: system wakes up
- no more mouse pointer on the screen
- logging out
- logging in again: mouse pointer is back again
- again as root: "s2ram"
-> from now on, everything works as expected!
TIA for any help, Peter
Steps to Reproduce:
first s2ram after reboot needs sigterm, and mouse pointer disappears
it should work just as with opensuse 12.2
