It is related to that patch, though I don't yet understand exactly how. There is another upstream patch Commit a7e429a6fa6d ("SUNRPC: Fix GSS privacy computation of auth->au_ralign") which needs to be applied and would probably fix the problem. However that patch break the kabi in a way that is hard to work-around, so I've been putting it off. I guess it is time to stop putting that off.
